LIFE IN ELIZABETH GARDENS
What it's like to live in Elizabeth Gardens.
Tucked between Appleby Line and Burloak Drive, from New Street right down to Lake Ontario, Elizabeth Gardens is a peaceful, established neighbourhood on the Oakville border with wide, tree-lined streets and big lots. Most of it was built in the 1950s to 70s, and today you'll find original bungalows sitting right beside beautiful new custom builds, with that settled, neighbourly feel where people stay for years.
The lake is never far, with Burloak Waterfront Park at the east end, and Skyway Arena and Community Centre is right in the neighbourhood. For commuters, Appleby GO and the QEW are just minutes away.
THE HOMES
Mid-century homes, big lots and new custom builds.
Most homes in Elizabeth Gardens are 1950s to 70s bungalows, side-splits and two-storeys on generous lots, many of them renovated or rebuilt into larger custom homes. There are also freehold and condo townhomes, plus condo buildings along Lakeshore Road with lake views.
Those big lots make it a favourite for buyers who want to renovate or build. Prices change with the market, so reach out anytime for a current snapshot.
