LIFE IN BRANT HILLS

What it's like to live in Brant Hills.

Tucked between Brant Street and Guelph Line, from Upper Middle Road up to Dundas, Brant Hills is an established north Burlington neighbourhood with rolling, tree-lined streets, family-sized homes and fenced backyards. It takes its name from Joseph Brant and from the hills that rise toward the Niagara Escarpment, so the streets slope and curve and on a clear day you can catch views of the escarpment.

Brant Hills Park and Community Centre are right in the middle of it all, with a library branch, gym, sports fields and a splash pad, and the Bruce Trail and Kerncliff Park are only minutes away. For commuters, the 407 and 403 are both close by.

THE HOMES

Family homes on rolling, tree-lined streets.

Most homes in Brant Hills are detached two-storeys in Colonial and Tudor-inspired styles, along with bungalows and split-levels on wide lots with attached garages and fenced yards. You'll also find freehold townhomes, which make a great first step into the neighbourhood.

It's one of the more affordable family neighbourhoods north of the QEW, with lots of space for the price. Prices change with the market, so reach out anytime for a current snapshot.

MY LOCAL FAVOURITES

Where you'll find me in Brant Hills.

Parks and walks: Brant Hills Park is the neighbourhood's hub, with sports fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a splash pad and a great toboggan hill in the winter. Kerncliff Park and the Bruce Trail are just a short drive away for an escarpment hike with a view.

Everyday stops: The Burlingwood Centre on Guelph Line has No Frills, Rexall, Goodwill and Rock and Road Cycle & Sports for the everyday errands, and the Brant Hills library branch is right at the community centre.

Something fresh: The Brick Oven Bakery in Beacon Hill Plaza on Guelph Line is my go-to for fresh bread and deli favourites.
